Ferrari Patented New Technology Steering Wheel
Maranello - Ferrari patented new technology on the steering wheel. Claimed, the development could be made more accurate and precise steering. Especially eliminating inconsistent feedback between the steering wheel, steering system, and transmission.Furthermore, the purpose of this new technology eliminates wheel "error" on the transmission of inaccurate wheel when reading input from the steering wheel. Electronically, the computer will calculate the angle and the torque on the steering wheel.
The data is then sent to other electronic devices to generate pressure fitting on the steering system. Transmission will be read from the pressure on the steering system to find the most appropriate gear. This system will be very useful when bulldoze the corner at high speed. Ferrari intelligently defend not to add to the cost of the new software. Another advantage, the software memory capacity remains small.
Although car manufacturers with the prancing horse logo has no plan to implement in future models, but it is believed the new technology will be paired on some supercars.
